Ethernet Cabling & Low Voltage in Central New Jersey
Wireless can't always keep up with a busy office, a POS terminal, or a wall-mounted camera — FINT System runs clean, properly terminated Ethernet where you actually need it.
This service covers Cat5e/Cat6 cable drops, wall plates, patch panel termination and labeling, coax runs for older camera or TV systems, and attic or crawlspace runs. Low-voltage conduit work is included where the building requires it.
Typical jobs include a new office buildout, adding a POS station or credit card terminal, wiring a new access point or camera, cleaning up cabling that was never labeled or was damaged during a renovation, or finally replacing a 'temporary' cable that's been taped across the floor for two years.
Route planning comes first — minimizing wall and ceiling damage while keeping runs practical to trace later. Every drop is tested before the job is called done, and patch panels are labeled clearly so the next person, including us on a future visit, can identify a cable in seconds instead of guessing.
Cabling is physical work that has to be scoped in person — wall type, distance, and obstructions all change what's possible. A Central NJ team can walk the space directly rather than estimating a job from a phone call.

Ethernet Cabling & Low Voltage — Frequently Asked Questions
Do you run cable through walls and ceilings, or only exposed cable?
Both, depending on the building. We route through walls, ceilings, and crawlspaces wherever possible for a clean finish, and use surface raceway or conduit in spaces — like commercial slab construction — where in-wall routing isn't practical.
How many cable drops does a typical small office need?
It depends on desk count and equipment, but most small offices need one drop per workstation plus dedicated drops for printers, access points, and cameras. We do a walkthrough and give you an exact count and price before starting.
Can you fix cabling that was installed by someone else?
Yes. A lot of our cabling calls are cleanup jobs — untraceable cable runs, damaged patch panels, or drops that were never properly terminated. We test and re-terminate as needed rather than assuming a full rewire is required.
Do you run cable for security cameras and POS systems too?
Yes — Ethernet and coax runs for cameras, NVRs, and POS terminals are some of the most common jobs we do, often bundled with the camera or network work itself.
